Kilian Jornet talks to Steve House and shares some of his training advice. He discusses athletes who start training later in life, who do a lot of training-volume, and who also have to work and have families. This means they have a lot going on besides only training. Kilian points out that whenever you train, it adds stress to your body and that you need to remember that time spent at work and/or with family is not necessarily rest for your body.
It’s important to understand the long-term progression of training and to slowly build up to higher training volumes as best you can.
