    While you said multiple times that Z1 upper limit is 10% less than AeT, how can I estimate my Z1 lower limit?

    At these very low intensity there are large grey areas. That’s because there is some controversy over how easy is too easy for one to see improvement or maintenance. For a couch potato this grey area is going to extend dow farther in the heart rate scale than for a world class athlete.

    Making the Zone 1 about 10% wide is a good place to start.
